I hit another workshop last night and had the pleasure of painting another Fabos of the famed Fabos line of art models. I had some specific goals in mind regarding the painting, but threw them out when I saw who was modeling and went for a completely different approach. Thanks for looking.
Another study in oil. 16×20 oil on linen board.

So I have been working on this one for quite some time. This is a portrait of Tiffany. She is an inspirational model. For those that are interested I included an animation of my process on this one so you can see my approach.
I finally got this one to model for me. It was a great shoot and very productive. I have many references to work from and will be painting her portrait here as soon as I have a free moment. Until then here is a warm up drawing and a photo.
Here is another little lady study. Oil on board 5×7. Enjoy.
Just a couple images for your viewing pleasure. Photos and a warmup study.
Here are a few quick studies. These were just to stay warm with oils. They are all 5×7 oil on paper.
This was supposed to be a reference image, but I thought I would just let the photo and the post production work I did on it speak for itself. I quite enjoy this one. I may post more in the future.
Here is the first real portrait of Sierra. It’s oil on board. 22 X 30 or something along those lines. I plan on posting up a process post so you can see the progression.
